Realty Specialist

CSEngineering is looking to add a Realty Specialist to our growing team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ability to review floor plans and surveys, documents, and updates of non-spatial data in the applicable space reporting tool as required or during routine inventories in coordination with Community Planners, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) representatives, and engineering assistants to maintain updated real property data and floor plans in the database.
• Ability to scan large existing construction documents/maps into digital format.
• Knowledge of commonly applied real property principles, rules, regulations, and practices as well as agency, state, and local government procedures and appropriate statutes and policies.
• Ability to maintain accurate, organized, and complete filing of documents and records in accordance with federal and installation guidelines.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.
  
  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  
  
• Bachelor's degree in Law, Property Management, or Construction Management or a related field that included at least (1) 6 semester hours in accounting or finance and (2) 3 semester hours in business or real estate law. Experience may not be substituted for education requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in a land use or realty office reviewing and managing land records, real estate transactions, leased space, and/or facility space involving common or familiar uses.
• Knowledge of American historic architecture and/or historic preservation design and techniques is preferred.
