Sr. Project Manager
**Future Opportunity**
Constellation Software Engineering (CSE) is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sr. Project Manager to join our team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all Contractor work performed under contract.
- The Project Manager shall be a single point of contact for the KO, the Contract Specialist (KS), the COR and PRO XD.
- The Project Manager shall be available to the COR, KO and KS between the hours of 0700 and 1600 CST, Monday through Friday, and shall respond to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within one business day of notification.
- The Project Manager shall provide for the daily administrative needs to execute WCC production contract oversight to include documentation and administrative support in the areas of communications, documentation capture, writing, task tracking, briefings, and meeting support.
- The Contractor shall develop and generate PowerPoint presentations, emails, documents, white papers, spreadsheets, graphs, program documentation, and record meeting notes and action items.
- The Project Manager shall obtain and present information and prepare a variety of recurring and special reports. The Contractor shall provide input and editing to routine and non-routine reports.
- The Contractor shall research, assemble and summarize a wide variety of material pertaining to WCC PRO functions.
- Contactor shall monitor organization actions in responding to and complying with reporting requirements.
- Advise office personnel on requirements of documents and formats.
- Contact senior military and civilian personnel within the organization to obtain information.
- The Contractor shall exercise judgment in validating conflicting information and present completed information in a comprehensive manner.
- The Project Manager shall receive all incoming correspondence addressed to the office, distribute to the responsible department, and establish suspense controls.
- The Contractor shall attach copies of previous correspondence and other relevant information as necessary.
- The Contractor shall prepare executive and staff level correspondence and non-technical reports; maintain logs and records on incoming correspondence and follow up to ensure timely action; review outgoing correspondence to ensure material is compliant with WCC PRO policies, to include proper formatting, grammar and relevant background material is attached.
- The Contractor shall utilize various automated systems including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint programs.
- The Project Manager shall perform a variety of duties in support of office missions. The Contractor shall receive and review data to determine completeness and accuracy; compile statistics and supporting analyses for use in decision-making;
- Perform periodic review of office coordination and workflow and make recommendations to ensure effective and efficient unit operations.
- The Project Manager shall support the administration, collection and submission of data calls. These data calls are routine in nature but generally require a very fast turnaround time for responses.
- The Project Manager shall ensure all correspondence and documents to support WCC production contract, as applicable, are prepared in accordance with COMDTINST M5216.4 (series). WCC PRO correspondence communicates information, both internal and external to the organization, articulates and educates diverse audiences such as the Project Sponsor, industry expos/conventions and media.
- The Contractor shall support WCC PRO communications functions as stated below:
- The Project Manager shall research suitable communication tools and products (web, articles, white papers, and similar type reports or articles) and provide recommendations to the COR that match these items to key calendar or acquisition events (i.e. keel laying, christenings, launches, commissioning's, delivery events, etc.). The Project Manager shall support the coordination of special programs and media events.
- Examples of support include researching and gathering information that enables the WCC Program Office and PRO to respond to media queries required by technical instructions, maintaining a history file of program related media.
- The Project Manager shall monitor the WCC production contractor's IMS, using Primavera, for consistency and accuracy on a weekly basis and report to the WCC PRO new discrepancies and monitor existing discrepancies.
- The Project Manager shall maintain the WCC PRO IMS to document internal recurring events and milestones related to WCC PRO operations.
- The Contractor shall incorporate updates to the WCC PRO IMS on a bi-monthly basis or as needed.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- At least 4 (four) years of experience in a project management role.
- Knowledge of ship construction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 software suite, including but not limited to, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, and Excel. 2.8.1.14.5 Proficiency with Primavera.
- Prefer experience with USCG.
