Administrative Assistant/Personnel Specialist

CSEngineering is looking to add an Administrative Assistant/Personnel Specialist to our growing team! This position will support the construction project of the Civil Units within DoD to prepare documentation, manage schedules, track issues, and streamline PIO communications.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Admin Assistant shall work supporting the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Civil Units within DoD, all members and staff.
- The Admin Assistant shall provide all administrative assistance to the PIO to include minutes of all meetings, all required PowerPoint slides, all Excel Spreadsheets, all Word Documents, electronic files, SharePoint file updates, scheduling of PIO meetings, attend and document all PIO meetings, maintain Issue Management Log, and manage Project Gantt chart.
- The Admin Assistant shall provide all administrative assistance, prepare various documents, reports, and correspondence for the PIO.
- Computer skills required. The Admin Assistant shall provide weekly input for Weekly Activity Report to PIO Chairman.
- The Admin Assistant shall develop innovative solutions to identified process and work limitations. Collects and analyzes pertinent organizational processes, workload data and information to improve and streamline process flow to quantify and justify resource requirements; develops statistical and narrative data to justify any changes and recommendations. Reviews and comments on the applicability of Air Force Manpower Standards/Determinants.
- The Admin Assistant recommends significant adaptation of work methods and application of manpower/process standards. Reviews and validates inputs involving complex work processes or broad application to manpower requirements packages, manpower estimate reports, Manpower Standards/Determinants, Form 9 Purchase Request, service contracts, and support agreements.
- Keeps senior management informed of the progress of programs and advises of any significant developments that may impact plans. Ensures current and proposed management strategies agree with Air Force (AF) and command directives. Monitors and evaluates operating units and activities to determine compliance with applicable regulations, directives, procedures, and policies.
- The Admin Assistant shall provide knowledge of the principles, concepts, techniques, standards, processes, and guides of military Human Resources concepts, practices, and procedures to process transactions and records updates that are a part of the HR information system sufficient to maintain data quality for the HR database.
- The Admin Assistant shall have knowledge of the principles, concepts, techniques, standards, processes, and guides of Military Personnel Management, Personnel Readiness, and be able to relate to personnel systems.
- The Admin Assistant will assist with Communications Support Tickets as an alternate.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI)
- Bachelor's, Associate, Master's, or PhD degree
- Shall have a Top Secret/SCI (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Must have sharp organizational skills, HR expertise, and a proactive approach to process improvement.
- Must be a United States Citizen.
