Construction Electrical Engineer
**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is looking to add a Construction Electrical Engineer to our growing team! This full-time role will support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) at one of its major medical facilities, providing electrical systems oversight and technical expertise throughout the construction project.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Electrical Engineer (CM-EE) provides construction management and technical oversight for the infrastructure upgrade project.
- Responsibilities include reviewing pre-construction submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and long-lead item evaluations.
- During construction, the CM-EE monitors electrical and telecommunications work, maintains daily progress and inspection reports, participates in weekly construction meetings, conducts routine inspections, assists with schedule analysis, and supports Change management actions including IGEs, JIS memos, and funding document reviews.
- The position leads electrical QA/QC oversight, supports commissioning activities, identifies deficiencies, assists in issue resolution, and ensures compliance with contract documents, codes, and project requirements.
- The CM-EE provides decisive direction in technical quality, cost, and schedule performance, ensuring consistent, professional-grade work products.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum six (6) years of experience in both design and construction of telecommunications and data communications infrastructures.
- Experience in healthcare and information technology (IT) projects/facilities is critical
- Must use OpCenter, attend pre-construction TEAMS calls, support onsite inspections and QA/QC
- Must maintain software proficiency for producing reports and work products.
- Current RCDD Certification
- Licensed professional engineer
- Must be a United States Citizen.
