Operations Training Specialist
**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is seeking an Operations Training Specialist to provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) in support of a federal aviation operations program. This role supports non-flying operational duties, including aircrew scheduling support, operations training coordination, and standardization/evaluation functions.
Contractor support is intended to offset manpower reductions and reduce workload on operational personnel, enabling them to focus on primary mission execution responsibilities.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Interface with Aviation Resource Management personnel to update Aviation Resource Management Systems (ARMS) or successor systems as required.

Review and update student and permanent party records, folders, and grade books in accordance with applicable governing instructions and locally developed guidance.

Administer classes and exams as required and coordinate with scheduling personnel to ensure crewmembers are properly scheduled for required training events, refresher courses, and pre-deployment requirements.

Conduct weekly individual gradebook checks for personnel training and ancillary training requirements.

Prepare periodic training and testing plans for approval and scheduling.

Provide weekly readiness and flight status updates to leadership to facilitate tracking of duty status and performance accomplishments.

Coordinate with scheduling offices to maximize training opportunities in accordance with leadership guidance and governing instructions.

Track daily upgrade and continuation training accomplishments and provide weekly summaries to operational leadership.

Assist in the development of new curriculum and syllabi for aircrew and ground training programs.

Maintain accountability and control of flight testing materials.

Notify crewmembers, scheduling personnel, and leadership of upcoming or overdue testing, evaluations, and training requirements.

Perform testing administrator duties and conduct monthly eligibility reviews for personnel entering evaluation periods.

Interpret governing training instructions and provide guidance to personnel to ensure accurate tracking of training and readiness status.

Standardize technical documentation libraries and mission planning systems as applicable.

Execute and standardize mission data cartridge and related checkout procedures, when required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with PEX (or similar proprietary scheduling/training management systems).

Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with Microsoft Access, Excel, and SharePoint.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting Squadron, Group, and/or Wing training or standardization/evaluation programs,
OR
Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting a DoD flying Squadron, Group, or Wing-equivalent training or stan/eval program.
