Task Order Project Manager

CSEngineering is seeking a Task Order Project Manager to join our growing team! This role will provide leadership and management oversight for complex task orders supporting government programs. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management experience, leadership capability, and the ability to coordinate technical solutions and project schedules to ensure successful task order execution.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Task Order Project Manager will serve as the project manager for a large and complex task order, or a group of task orders affecting the same system. The role will support the Program Manager in coordinating activities with Government Contracting Officers, task order-level managers, government leadership, and customer representatives.
• Under the guidance of the Program Manager, the Task Order Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management and execution of assigned task orders, ensuring that project objectives, technical solutions, and schedules are implemented in a timely and effective manner.
• The Task Order Project Manager will oversee project planning, task execution, and resource coordination to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and organizational objectives. The role will require close collaboration with government stakeholders to monitor progress, address project risks, and ensure successful delivery of services and solutions.
• The Task Order Project Manager will assist in coordinating project activities across technical teams, ensuring communication between stakeholders, and supporting program leadership with project reporting, planning, and execution activities.
• This position requires strong leadership and project coordination skills to manage complex initiatives and ensure compliance with government program requirements and project timelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: IT-II security clearance OR NACLC

• Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) required. Four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in project management within IT, consulting, or related technical environments.
• Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex projects or task orders within government or enterprise environments.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work effectively with program leadership, government stakeholders, and technical teams.

Location: Washington, DC (NCR) with potential travel to other government sites as required.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS

• Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or other nationally recognized project management certification.
• DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification – IAM Level III.
