Chief Information Security Officer / IT Architect Lead
**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer / IT Architect Lead to join our growing team! This role will provide strategic and technical leadership for the design, integration, and oversight of secure information technology infrastructure supporting a complex government facility program. The ideal candidate will bring deep enterprise architecture experience, strong knowledge of classified environments, and the ability to translate mission requirements into resilient IT solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Chief Information Security Officer / IT Architect Lead will lead the planning, design, programming, and integration of secure IT infrastructure across multiple classified and unclassified environments.
- Identify mission and operational IT requirements and translate them into enterprise architecture, systems planning, and technology implementation strategies.
- Lead infrastructure design reviews, construction IT submittal reviews, test report reviews, and record document reviews.
- Support equipment planning, acquisition, integration, lifecycle management, and technology disposition activities.
- Coordinate with government communications, cybersecurity, and mission partner stakeholders to ensure alignment of architecture and implementation plans.
- Provide technical oversight for network infrastructure, data center considerations, cybersecurity controls, cloud integration, and IT governance activities.
- Support change management, budget planning, and resource allocation across complex IT efforts.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance
- SAP eligibility required.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field required.
- Active CISSP certification required.
- Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive enterprise architecture experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community projects.
- Demonstrated experience in system architecture, software development, and IT project management.
- Experience designing, developing, and integrating technology infrastructure for large, secure facilities.
- Experience with classified networks and secure IT environments.
- Knowledge of RMF and the ATO process.
- Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud computing, database management, and IT governance.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience supporting IT infrastructure stand-up for SCIF or intelligence facility construction programs.
- Hands-on experience across NIPR, JWICS, and NSANet environments.
- Experience reviewing construction IT submittals, test reports, and change orders.
- Experience coordinating with multiple government communications and mission partner organizations in secure environments.
