Construction Manager

CSEngineering is looking to add a Construction Manager to the growing team to support the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) VA Medical Center (VAMC) in Cheyenne, WY.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Cheyenne VAMC Engineering department in preparing documents supporting maintenance and construction project planning, programming, and procurement and to assist in the monitoring of ongoing construction contracts at this station.
  • Provide construction management and engineering services related to real property to assist the Cheyenne VAMC Engineering/Designing department.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Engineering degree from an ABET or NAAB accredited school or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Construction management.
  • Shall know construction scheduling methods and building and construction crafts since they are required to verify that construction and maintenance work is performed by project plans and specifications and according to industry standards of workmanship.
  • Shall possess the skills and abilities to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing and experience in preparing correspondence, written reports, and briefing management personnel.
  • Must be a United States Citizen.
