Facility Space Planner
**Future Opportunity**
CSEngineering is seeking a Facility Space Planner to support facility space management, utilization analysis, asset optimization, and footprint-reduction initiatives for a Department of Defense installation. The ideal candidate will be skilled at translating mission needs and facility data into practical space-allocation recommendations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and analyze facility space utilization, occupancy, assignments, and asset-optimization data.
- Evaluate space requests and identify opportunities to use existing or underutilized facilities before recommending new construction or leased space.
- Conduct facility utilization inspections and site audits to document current use, personnel counts, utilization rates, and consolidation opportunities.
- Prepare floor-plan markups, utilization graphics, analytical summaries, and recommendations for leadership and facility planning boards.
- Maintain accurate facility, real-property, occupancy, and space-allocation information in Government-approved databases.
- Coordinate with engineering, community planning, real-property, and tenant organizations to support facility space optimization plans.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Security Clearance: NACI/SF85 (Public Trust)
- Bachelor's degree in urban planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Facility Management, or a closely related field; or
- At least three (3) years of experience in facility space management and asset optimization.
- Experience analyzing quantitative and qualitative facility data to support consolidation, relocation, or space-utilization recommendations.
- Experience with real-property or facility-management databases; experience with NexGen IT/TRIRIGA is preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
